Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Central Indiana Region

Description: As our Business Development Executive for the Central Indiana region, you will be responsible
for the growth of target existing client sales, creating new sales opportunities through developing relationships
and achieving sales activity goals such as locating, developing, defining negotiating, and closing business opportunities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify opportunities and relationships by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
  • Increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; building personal networks; activity involved in professional organizations
  • Work closely with Client Account Executive during the transition of a project after the commitment of business from the client
  • Develop and execute account strategies for all existing and target accounts assigned
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts on an ongoing basis (live, current data)
  • Present effective Interconnected workplace presentations

Success Factors:

  • High level of Business acumen
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Rapport and relationship building in commercial sales environment
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels
  • Ability to provide innovative and effective client solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field and 5 years’ experience in a business development sales role is preferred

Title: Account Manager

Location: Central Illinois Region

Description: As our Account Manager for the Central Illinois region, you will be responsible
for serving our most important clients and exceeding their expectations for creative design
and exceptional customer service. The Account Manager is responsible for engaging clients,
developing and building relationships and achieving sales activity goals, with a high level
of customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identifies opportunities by staying connected to key decision makers within the organization and partnering with the Client Business Development Executive.
  • Develop a project timeline which includes construction schedule, interior design, lead times, installation schedule and incorporates the client objectives for the project
  • Use Smart Technology tools to create layout and space plan that fits well within the building envelope
  • Present design and product solutions to the client which include drawings, basic renderings and budget estimates
  • Obtain customer approval and participate in the audit process. Stay engaged in all phases of the order placement process including planning for installation of the furniture.
  • Participate in the development and execution of short and long term account strategies for all accounts assigned.

Success Factors:

  • 3+ years of design/customer service experience working directly with clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred
  • Ability to interface and develop good relationships with key customers
  • High attention to detail and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities for this leadership role include:
