Community

At Business Furniture, we feel it is as important to give back to our community as it is to serve our customers. That’s why we strongly encourage our employees to participate in charitable activities that will support community businesses, not-for-profits, education and the arts, both with time and money.

Our employees, business partners and customers all benefit from strong communities and we work to help enhance our neighborhoods, cities and states in which we live and work.

Our team members participate in walk-a-thons, golf outings, food and clothing drives. Some even volunteer with activities like Special Olympics and Lion’s Club. For “Rebuilding Together, Indianapolis”, Business Furniture employees walked door to door and delivered lunches to volunteers who were helping rebuild a neighborhood. Others have climbed 36-flights of stairs in the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Stairclimb, painted houses for United Way’s Day of Caring, participated in the George Washington Community High School classroom makeover or participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life where participants had to walk for 24 hours since “cancer never sleeps.”
