Following comprehensive orientation, product training, and our Onboarding Program, you'll dive into your projects. As an Interior Designer, you'll oversee the design experience from initial client meetings to project installation, including collaborating with sales teams, making design recommendations, presenting solutions, and training new Designers.

You have an Interior Design degree and have already made your mark either as an Interior Designer or through a Design internship in a commercial setting. Proficient in AutoCAD or a similar space planning program, you've created custom design solutions with finesse.
You possess a passion for learning and are eager to expand your knowledge of Business Furniture's clients, products, and services. Delving deep into our clients' businesses, you ask the right questions to tailor design solutions that meet their unique needs.
Thriving in team dynamics, you understand the power of collective victories in fostering a strong team spirit. While you excel in group settings, you also demonstrate independence, taking initiative, seeking clarity when needed, and being accountable for your actions.
This role requires in-person presence in Indianapolis and to be in our office a minimum of three days per week.
1-3 years of experience in a commercial design capacity.
Proficiency in AUTOCAD, including 3D modeling
Expertise in space planning and layouts
Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret architectural drawings
Demonstrated commitment to client service and attention to detail
Effective time management and adaptability to change
Ability to handle challenging situations and able to work with a variety of personalities.
