The Elements Financial team recognized the need for a functional and inviting workspace after nearly 25 years in their outdated office. They partnered with BF+Co to bring their vision to life and create a space that truly represented their culture and values.
With a history dating back to 1930, Elements Financial is known for its caring and hospitable approach towards its members. However, their existing office space did not reflect the warmth and energy of their employees. Recognizing the need for change, they sought the assistance to transform their space and align it with their culture.
Elements Financial valued its employees and aimed to provide them with a space where they could thrive and feel excited to come to work every day. Initially, in a post-pandemic world, employees planned to be in the office only two days a week. However, after seeing the redesigned space and the opportunities it offered, they quickly changed their minds and wanted to spend more time in the office. The new space provided various options for work, allowing employees to choose where they could do their best work. Collaboration was a significant aspect of their business, and multiple spaces were created to facilitate teamwork and collaboration in different ways.
Elements Financial fully utilized the expertise and resources offered by Business Furniture. They found that BF+C's comprehensive approach perfectly met their needs, receiving assistance with change management, space planning, workplace research, furniture planning, and even floor installation support.

The updated space featured fewer private offices and instead incorporated several huddle rooms for private meetings and semi-private booths for colleague meetings or lunches. The new design emphasized natural light and created an open and inviting atmosphere throughout. An innovative addition to the space was the concept of "neighborhoods."
Each neighborhood included height-adjustable work surfaces, adjustable dual monitor arms, ergonomic task chairs, tackable panels, marker boards, convenience power outlets, and wardrobe storage towers. These neighborhoods also provided several huddle rooms, adding a refreshing twist to the office revamp. Collaboration was further encouraged through the inclusion of a social hub—a spacious area filled with tables, chairs, and rocking chairs—where employees could come together in a casual setting to interact.
Employee culture held a prominent place within the company, and to promote a positive work environment, each employee was invited to write down their five strengths on the outside of their office space. With these changes, Elements Financial was well-prepared to navigate a post-pandemic world and elevate their business to new heights.
